Private Puppy and Dog Training
PRIVATE PUPPY AND DOG TRAINING PACKAGES
Our private dog training lessons are done in the comfort of your home where distractions are minimal and the learning environment is easier or at our indoor Training Center . Based on your dogs needs we may also meet in public for a different emphasis on training.
Lessons are 45-65 minutes long and will teach you an effective way of communicating to your puppy or young dog that will have life long results. We use the same communication system adopted by elite dog trainers, sport dog trainers, police dog trainers, scent detection trainers, and people looking to get their puppy a good foundation of obedience. We’ll use your dogs motivation for food, balls, and tug toys to help this communication system work best for you and your puppy or young dog.
This communication system is used to teach:
- Sit
- Down
- Heel
- Recall (come back when called)
- Place command
- Loose leash walking
- And address any other problem behaviors your puppy might have
Puppy Training Assessment
Assessments are meant for dog and puppy owners who would like some guidance on what direction they should go for their specific goals. Assessments are $20 and offered Monday through Friday.

Private Puppy Training – 6 Week Program
A 6 week program is designed to start your pup off with the right tools necessary to continue training without our help. In the 6 week program we will meet once a week, build on the previous week, and get you ready for your next goal in dog training. Classes are offered on-site at our training center or in the client’s home.

The 8 week program is designed to start your pup off with the right tools necessary plus 2 more weeks than the 6 week program to address any additional goals, extra time to problem solve, or perfect skills.
Additional goals or skills could include;
- Retrieving
- Tug play
- Release or leave command
- Focused heeling
- Introducing the remote collar
- And field trips for environmental conditioning
Classes are offered on-site at our training center or in the client’s home.

PRIVATE AGGRESSIVE DOG TRAINING PACKAGES
8 LESSON PACKAGE
The 8 lesson dog aggression package is meant to establish a good communication system through obedience as a way to correct the aggression. Most aggression behaviors are related to fear or insecurities. The obedience will provide a safe and secure place for your dog through a good communication system. Using a science based training system we will communicate to your dog when it is right and when it is wrong.

PRIVATE LESSON OBEDIENCE SKILLS
BASIC OBEDIENCE
- Methodology; Terminology, intentional training vs circumstantial training, house breaking, balanced dog training, food rewards, building a training plan, training equipment
- Reward based training; marker training, delivering food, loading the reward, using engagement
- Lures – Gestures and Training the Sit and Down
- Three different types of heeling.
- The basic recall.
